2022 Washington Commanders rebrand
At the end of 2021, the NFL’s (then) Washington Football Team prepared to announce their new team name and rebrand in early 2022. In preparation for the announcement, they needed a partner to produce and secure and decorate large quantities of apparel with the new branding, while ensuring the new name was not made public until the official announcement on February 2, 2022.
At the time, their head equipment manager had worked with Image Apparel Solutions on previous projects and recommended IAS as the ideal partner for their rebranding project. Under non-disclosure, and with only six weeks of lead- time and no room for error, IAS delivered over 30,000 garments with their new Commanders logo, all while keeping the name under wraps. Because of their partnership with IAS, when Washington unveiled their rebrand, they were prepared with new branded apparel for players, coaches, staff members, and fans.
