KU Liberty Bowl
Case Study

KU Football at the 2022 AutoZone Liberty Bowl
In 2022, the University of Kansas Football Team was selected to play in the Liberty Bowl, their first bowl appearance since 2008. With this being such a large achievement for the team, Kansas wanted to ensure players, coaches, and staff were well-outfitted for the game. They attempted to secure garments from Adidas, pre-decorated with their school logo, and send them to IAS Branding to have the Bowl Logos applied with Performance Flex® Matte Finish. Unfortunately, they received word that Adidas would not be able to deliver their garments on time for the game. In fact, the only available inventory had not yet been decorated with even the Adidas logo. With limited time for delivery, Adidas and the university approached IAS Branding proposing that IAS create and apply the Adidas, University of Kansas, and Liberty Bowl logos to all garments. Within about a week, IAS decorated over 4000 garments, using Performance Flex® Matte Finish, and delivered them in time for the Liberty Bowl.
